Why is music an important part of our lives?

We feel that it is so for many reasons: it inspires, it comforts, it relaxes, it can make us happy or sad – in other words, it has the ability to speak a language that touches our hearts and often without the use of words

Karina Ridzuan
Chief Executive Officer, Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS and Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra

Have you watched August Rush?
It's one of my favourite movie so far.

.... because it's about music. hee.

i don't want to talk about that movie today. (cos i've seen that movie long ago and i can't remember every detail of it.huhu)
i just want to share about Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra [MPO].

haven't get the chance to step in Dewan Filharmonik Petronas this year (yet). hopefully i will be sometime this month or next month. there are a few shows that caught my attention. wish i manage to see them. wish i have anyone to come along with me. well, that's the problem with being a single. you can take anyone to go to the movies, shopping, makan-makan, jalan-jalan. BUT sangat lah susah nak drag anyone to this musical kind of thing. well, not everyone into this orchestra thingy, ya know.. among my friends [and among my siblings too!], i'm the ONLY ONE who is a musical-freak. T___T .

dunno why. but i just do. there's something about piano, violin and cello that can bring me the tranquility... [poyo gila ayat. haha. whatever ;p ]

here are some of the interesting shows that i would like love to see. there are lots more. you can check out MPO's website for the details (price, time, etc), oke? :)
