The Season of the Witch is Here

crap!
i am supposed to write about what scares me the most about witches.
and all i can think about is how cool it is being a witch!
haha.

you see..
i grew up reading all the fairytales there is in this world- The Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Hansel & Greetel (to name a few) and all of them telling me (and us!) that witches are this one ugly hag, flying around with her broomstick, wearing a pointy hat. even if they are pretty, that's only their disguise!
and truth be told, Hansel & Greetel is the one that scared the sh*t hell out of me when i was a kid! i can even imagine the scene where the witch was making some potion to cook the kids!
it's haunting me until now, can you believe it? (-_-)"

but then i grew up.. i became a teenager.
and i believe that the witches has undergone a transformation as well.

let's take a look Sabrina the Teenage Witch!

Sabrina and Salem the Black Cat.

she's the one that responsible for making me think of "oh how cool it is to be a witch!"
like seriously..
as a witch, you have this special ability to cast a spell on anyone.
you can do whatever you want to do.
and the best thing is, you can go anywhere you want to go.
so goodbye M*AS! goodbye Air*Asia! hahaha.
kidding! ;p

and what more,
as currently i'm addicted to The Vampire Diaries
(like hello.. vampire?werewolves? and WITCH!)
it doesn't do any help either!
Bonnie too, is gifted with the power to do the hocus-pocus thingy:
she can put a spell on anyone whenever she wants to do it!
and i mean, ANYONE.
be it human or non-human (read: vampire, werewolves)

Bonnie, witch in training.
she looks so sweet, doesn't she..?
don't be fooled with that innocent face cos
she can hurt you with ONLY by using her MIND.

so yeah.
basically..
no more ugly hag..
no more broomstick..
no more weird witch's uniform.

and that got me thinking..
OMG!
they might be living among us!!
okay now that is SCARY!

time may pass, and witches may change their look,
they can be
as cute as Sabrina the teenage witch..
or as sweet as Bonnie..
there's still this one thing you don't ever wanna mess around with witches.

that what makes me scares the MOST about witches...

is the special GIFT that they possessed..
the one thing that makes them special from anyone else..

that is..
the CURSE..
..the SPELL
that they could put on to anybody !
and they can mess around with your mind too!!
they can use your deepest, darkest fear to destroy you.

like helloooooo!
do you want a witch to say this to you:
"you will be a frog! abrakadebra..! "
and poof!
the next thing you know, you're a one little slimy green frog!
Euuwww!
and WORST, trapped with another frog prince!!
Double Euuwwww!!!
*blue face*

the spoiled brat prince

you sure don't want that to happen to you, do you?
DO YOU??!

fine.
laugh all you want.
but i'm pretty sure the Witch in The Season Of The Witch is not the good one.
one word: eeeeeee-villllll!!!
yikessss!

you should run for your life!

but so what, i still wanna go and watch this movie,
for the sake of Nicolas Cage.
hehehe.
(^__^)v

Season of the witch

Sypnosis

In the supernatural thriller Season of the Witch, Nicolas Cage stars as a 14th century Crusader who returns with his comrade (Ron Perlman) to a homeland devastated by the Black Plague. A beleaguered church, deeming sorcery the culprit of the plague, commands the two knights to transport an accused witch (Claire Foy) to a remote abbey, where monks will perform a ritual in hopes of ending the pestilence. A priest (Stephen Campbell Moore), a grieving knight (Ulrich Thomsen), an itinerant swindler (Stephen Graham) and a headstrong youth who can only dream of becoming a knight (Robert Sheehan) join a mission troubled by mythically hostile wilderness and fierce contention over the fate of the girl. When the embattled party arrives at the abbey, a horrific discovery jeopardizes the knight’s pledge to ensure the girl fair treatment, and pits them against an inexplicably powerful and destrustive force.
