Tell me your dreams

Someone was following her. She had read about stalkers, but they belonged in a different, faraway world. She had no idea who it could be, who would want to harm her. She was trying desperately hard not to panic, but lately her sleep had been filled with nightmares, and she had awakened each morning with a feeling of impending doom. Thus begins Sidney Sheldon's chilling novel, Tell Me Your Dreams. Three beautiful young women are suspected of committing a series of brutal murders. The police make an arrest that leads to one of the most bizarre murder trials of the century. Based on actual events, Sheldon's novel races from London to Rome to Quebec City to San Francisco, with a climax that will leave the reader stunned.

Finally, i've finished reading Tell Me Your Dreams by Sidney Sheldon. and oh, Morning, Noon and Night too! but today let's talk about Tell Me Your Dreams, shall we?

You know, i really adore Sidney Sheldon. The way he wrote his novel is seriously amazing! eventhough i must say, i already knew who's the killer right in the beginning of the story (sorry Sidney, it really is not that surprised) but it still has the page turning factor! okay fine, it's not really in a beginning story. i found out who the culprit is in Chapter 3. heh.

Like i said before, reading Sidney's novel is like watching a movie. the storyline is good. the twisted plot can make us me confuse at times.. and the cliffhanger. damn i love the cliffhanger! i can feel my heart race, and can't wait to know what's gonna happen next. and heck, i can even hear the background music! you know, the one you always hear during those suspend/cliffhanger moment in movie or drama. especially in the drama. like the time yang tengah cuak tu, time tu la tiba-tiba nak iklan. which is yes, i can hear the Prison Break background sound in the back of my mind while reading Tell Me Your Dreams. haha.

i don't want to spoil this, but this novel remind me so much of one of my favorite movie : Identity.
it's one of the best movie EVER. kira nya, masa tengok Inception or Shutter Island tu, i was like.. "duhhhh.." (seriously tak paham the hype of that movie pasal i think cerita tu biase je.. ) and i watched Identity a long time ago, when i was still studying. it was an excellent movie by John Cusack (which surprisingly, some of my favorite movies were acted by John Cusack : Identity, 1408 and Serendipity).

Anyway, back to Tell Me Your Dreams. For me, it was an okay novel. not excellent, but still a good novel to read.

My verdict (out of 5 stars):

1. If Tomorrow Comes: 4.5 stars
2. Morning, Noon and Night : 4 stars
3. Tell Me Your Dreams : 3.5 stars
